In this 18th century inn, the city hall of Deurle was established from 1843 till 1854 hence the name ‘Oud Gemeentehuis’ (Old City Hall). Approximately 1826, the building served as a small school. The old inn located in the Dorpsstraat is still a well-attended restaurant and/or pub, but bears the name ‘d’Ouwe Hoeve’ (Old Farm) since 1953.
