You stay in the house of Albert Servaes, painter, who had the tower built in 1917. Servaes himself stayed there from 1918 till 1944 and made his highly regarded Stations of the Cross, Mary’s Life and numerous landscapes and heads of farmers. The structure has both in and outside something ‘monastic’. The tower reminds to a little Danish church. The hotel is peacefully situated near the nature area of the wet lowlands of Latem.
