In the ‘Museumlaan’ in Deurle, the Dhondt-Dhaenens Museum has a fine collection of masterpieces in its possession of the three groups of Latem. Based on the requirements of the couple, the museum was at the same time a place where a variety of cultural and artistic activities could take place. The foundation that manages the museum remains faithful to this mission. The focus is also modern contemporary art from both home and abroad with numerous temporary exhibitions.
In 2014, the private library of the late art pope Jan Hoet was acquired by the museum. This underlines that the Museum Dhondt-Dhaenens is an established name in the world of modern and contemporary art.
