The present building along the river Lys in St.-Martens-Latem village was designed by architect Ivan Van Mossevelde and dates from 1999. Several services are involved, a reception desk, an alderman roon, a council chamber, an artistic crypt and lofts for artists are integrated too. The result is a modern building which shows inside and outside respect for the history and is fully satisfactory for service and reception operations and which supports the future tasks of St.-Martens-Latem als a local administration.
