The park of Deinze stretches all the way from the ‘Gaversesteenweg’ in the west to the ‘Nazarethsesteenweg’ in the east and the ‘Karreweg’ in the south to the railway Ghent – Courtrai in the north. The park is 55 hectares in size and consists mostly of woods with some grasslands with pollard willows and bushes. The middle lane ‘Astenedreef’ is a beautivul lane which is now accessible to lesser able bodied. The care centre ‘De Nieuwe Ceder’ is in the direct vicinity.
