This route takes you along quiet idyllic roads along the most beautiful castles of Deinze with castle Ter Walle, castle van Melderen and castle Velde or the ‘pink castle’. You will also pass the picturesque village centre of Hansbeke where you can’t look past the typical blue-white shutters. These also refer to the castle history of the village. After a tough climb you get an impressive view over the beautifully preserved nature reserve Oude Kalevallei.
